In the age of the hyper-produced pop music, Chase The Bear is a refreshing take on rock music that’s raw, authentic, and live off the floor. Built brick by brick in Vancouver, Canada, these six unlikely small-town boys are hell-bent on a mission to save the world and be the last rock band standing.

Years of recording, touring, and doing it all over again has taken them from busking in Victoria’s cobblestone streets to sharing bills with Shakey Graves at Barnside Festival, Stone Temple Pilots at Rock The Locks, and The Trews at The Commodore Ballroom. After a Chase The Bear show, people leave sweaty and teary-eyed, with an overwhelming gratitude for their friends and local music scene. They go to bed in their new merch and fall asleep as their ears ring from the wailing guitars and pounding drums. They wake up losing their voice, but they found their new favourite band.

Caravanning in their Ford Econoline, christened “Baloo”, Chase The Bear played hundreds of shows, enduring van breakdowns on Nevada’s desert highways to blinding blizzards on northern BC’s logging roads. Nothing will stop them from giving an explosive performance in any city, town or village they go to - and after almost a decade,  they’re only getting started.

After a successful showcase at Toronto’s NXNE Festival and Conference, Chase The Bear has begun making plans to return to Ontario and the United States, as well as introduce their alternative hard rock sound to the United Kingdom with a tour in 2027. Their sophomore EP and album, produced by longtime collaborator Danny Craig of Canadian rock band Default, will be released in mid-2027.
